ROOF VENTILATION

Tegola Canadese has combined the concept of “roofing system” with that of “roof ventilation”. The result is the "ventilated roof", a construction technique that ensures a higher level of living comfort, efficient use of roof space, longer lasting structural components and significant energy savings.

The ventilation chamber is positioned between the insulating material and the roofing system, and has the function of letting the air circulate, which in turn improves the thermal characteristics of the roof.

THE ADVANTAGES OF ROOF VENTILATION

Because of its unique features, the roof ventilation system guarantees exceptional energy savings. In case of high temperatures, it enables to reduce the temperature of the loft, which becomes much more comfortable. In case of snow with the ventilated roof the formation of dangerous ice-buildups on the eaves may be eliminated.
